As a market leader, we proactively collaborate with all our stakeholders to develop best practices and solutions for sustainable palm oil.
- We pioneered and co-organised the International Conference on Palm Oil and Environment, together with Centre de coopération Internationale en Recherche Argonomoque pour le Développment (“CIRAD”), France and the World Wildlife Fund (“WWF”).
- We have been supporting and co-operating with RSPO and its member organisations to develop sustainable palm oil throughout the entire supply chain.
- As a founding member of the Indonesian Global Compact Network since its inception in November 2008, we have been leading regular meetings among its members.
- Together with the Indonesian Oil Palm Association, smallholders and government bodies, we promote the use of seeds that are derived from selected highly productive oil palms, prudent use of pesticides and biological pest control to enhance productivity of the entire industry.
