Singapore, 18 August 2022 – Golden-Agri Resources (GAR), one of the world’s largest seed-to-shelf agribusiness, was honoured with a Bronze Stevie® Award in the Creative Department of the Year category at the 19th Annual International Business Awards® (IBA).
The International Business Awards are the world’s premier business awards programme. All individuals and organisations worldwide – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small – are eligible to submit nominations. The 2022 IBAs received entries from organisations in 67 nations and territories.
GAR was recognised among more than 3,700 nominations from organisations of all sizes and virtually every industry in a wide range of categories for this year’s Stevie Awards.
“We are humbled by this recognition,” said Karen Teh, Vice President of Strategic Communications & Branding. “This award is a testament to our incredibly talented team’s dedication and hard work, who continuously pursue excellence and develop creative solutions to build GAR’s differentiated brand identity as a responsible palm oil producer. We strive to be best-in-class with forward-looking approaches to creating, engaging, educating, and building campaigns that impact our business and the communities in which we operate.”
Stevie Award winners were determined by the average scores of more than 300 executives worldwide who participated in the judging process in June and July.
Judges were impressed with the projects submitted and described the Branding & Production team at GAR as a “professional team with high quality of work”. They highlighted the team’s refreshing direction in bringing new ideas and concepts to a traditional industry such as palm oil. Furthermore, the team was commended for its well-designed and effective campaigns targeting a diverse audience across multiple channels, languages, and narratives.
“Being recognised as among the best and receiving such a prestigious award places an even greater responsibility on us. We will continue to tell the story of palm’s sustainability transformation and the people driving that change in innovative and unexpected ways,” said Anita Neville, Chief Sustainability & Communications Officer. “I am proud of the team’s dedication, commitment and excellence in creatively conveying the power of palm.”
